Violet Coated Vicryl 8-0 BV13 5" Suture is a synthetic absorbable suture composed of Polyglactin 910, a copolymer of glycolide and lactide. The suture is coated with a mixture of polyglactin 370 and calcium stearate to provide superior handling, reduced tissue drag, and enhanced knot security. 

This suture features a BV13 needle, a 3/8 circle taper point design, ideal for fine and precise tissue penetration with minimal trauma. The small 8-0 suture diameter makes it suitable for microsurgical and ophthalmic procedures requiring high accuracy.
